New Delhi: The Commonwealth Games are scheduled to be held from October 3 to October 14, 2010. The entire National Capital Region is expected to see an estimated 27 new hotels, serviced apartments and mixed-use developments with approximately 4,900 rooms adding up shortly.

NEW DELHI: Unable to provide adequate hotel rooms for the expected tourists during the Commonwealth Games, the government is now hoping to set up camp sites for tourists. Shortage of accommodation continues to worry the tourism ministry and it has asked the Army for land in cantonment areas to set up camps. |
